Well, we called it quits on the 500 calories. In a way I'm sad to see it end. I was so close to my goal, but at the same time I'm happy with our next steps. During the this next period it seems common to loose another 5-10 pounds, so that would put me at my goal. Also, it is nice because we are starting a exercise program during this period, so not only will I loose the last few pounds but I will hopefully get in shape a little more.
On a side note, you may have noticed that Lena and I didn't loose equally, but if you look at how much we lost in compared to our initial weights its about even. Lena lost 11.6% of her initial weight, and I lost 11% of my initial weight. So on that aspect Lena won.
This is my exercise goals for this time period.
100 push-ups daily
100 sit-ups daily
1 mile on the glider
May not seem like much but its a whole lot more then I'm doing now.

ReplyDeleteThank you for posting this and leaving a road map for some of us to follow. This is my first round of hcg, Phase 2 or VCLD (Very Low Calorie Diet) Day 28, that's R1P2D28 for the newbies. Just thought I'd share that because it took me a minute to figure it out! Anyway, I've been so melancholy and bummed out and feel like I had have a hint of brain fog, so I began to google hcg and depression. I too have lower levels of serotonin and I have had trouble sleeping as well. I have 5 more injections, but I am considering stopping. I've lost 25.6 lbs. My energy is low and it's impacting my chores around the house. I have sleep apnea and fibromyalgia, so sleep disturbances are not unusual. I used SAMe and the suppliment Clear Mind by Ameriden as well as various oils to help my brain health and my sleep. Obviously I cannot take fish oil or flax seed oil on Phase 2 and I was advised after reading the labels on the SAMe (Costco has the best price) that there were added ingredients that may cause stalls. Currently I am taking B12, Clear Mind, Coral Calcium and I just added 5HTP to help me with energy and craving and to get through these last 5 days. I learned about all these supplements from my doctor. I'd like to stick it out, but I don't know if there will be a R2 (Round 2) for me. I don't like feeling like this. If I do it will be a short round.
